From the VW T5 1.9 TDI Transporter over the Bentley Mulsanne 6.75l V8 bi-turbo towards the Opel Corsa OPC 1.6 Turbo! Within just a few days proves the company based in Mechernich (North Rhine-Westphalia) mcchip-dkr Once again how extremely versatile they are and that they really have a performance upgrade for all vehicles on request. Already ex factory has the small Rüsselsheimer whopping 192PS / 230 Nm torque (with overboost even for a short time 266 Nm) and is thus able not only to annoy significantly larger vehicles, but also to leave them behind if necessary. Of course, the 1.6 liter engine also has a turbocharger, and like that, vehicles that are supercharged by means of chip tuning are particularly easy to persuade to increase their performance. Mcchip gave the OPC its in-house software and with it achieved a leap in performance to 218PS / 284Nm torque and is even above the OPC "Nürburgring Edition" with its 210 PS & 250NM. Visually nothing has been changed on the vehicle, which is understandable, because the OPC already comes with everything the tuning heart desires ex works.

The most important highlights are the exclusive Arden blue exterior color or the Recaro bucket seats. The OPC spoiler package with front and rear bumpers as well as side skirts and an eye-catching roof spoiler are also included. The OPC-specific exterior mirrors, the sports steering wheel with a flattened bottom, the new gear knob and the sporty speedometer in OPC design set the Power variant apart from the standard models. The improved, blue painted brake system (gray from facelift) and the stylish aluminum rims in the 7 × 17 inch format complete with the central sports exhaust system. So much for the OPC 😀 If we get more information about the modifications to the Mcchip-Corsa, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
