The increase in performance is achieved by expanding the displacement to 6,3 l., Milled special crankshaft (from the solid) with longer stroke, new forged pistons and connecting rods, modified exhaust manifold, new turbocharger, etc. However, these are only a few components of the conversion that ensure that you have to limit the torque electronically to 1.200 Newton meters. The soundscape should be particularly breathtaking because when the roof is open, the pressure-reducing stainless steel exhaust system, with 80 millimeter thick downpipes, allows the V12 to trumpet its performance almost unadorned into the environment at the push of a button (activating sound management).
And even at the front, the whole thing sounds a little different because a modified intake module processed, via an integrated air duct in the hood, the incoming air much more effective and partly audible. By the way, a Gold Heat coating of the intake pipes helps to lower the temperature significantly. However, the core of the performance increase is likely to be the optimization of the software, which is responsible for the lion's share of the additional power. The result is an acceleration of only 3,9 seconds to 100 km / h and, as already mentioned, a maximum speed of over 350 km / h. These values ensure that the Rocket 900 Convertible is currently the fastest open four-seater with street legality in the world.
And of course you want to show that optically and so there are new aprons & sills with elements made of carbon fiber and an in-house wheel set in 21 inch format. Of course, the rims were made in a forging process and with the dimensions 9 × 21 inches on the front axle and lush 10 × 21 inches at the rear, the wheel arches are perfectly filled. If that's not enough, you can optionally switch to a 22-inch monitor. Incidentally, the aluminum is equipped with tires of size 255/30 and 295/25. So that the new wheels sit perfectly in the wheel arch and the large coupé is even more dynamic, Brabus offers a lowering module that brings the body approx. 15 mm closer to the road. Other changes such as door sills with illuminated logo, new ambient interior lighting, aluminum versions of the shift paddles, pedals and door pins and an urgently needed speedometer up to 400 km / h are of course also included.
And otherwise the interior will be extensively revised on request. The in-house saddlery installed a handmade leather interior which brings a bi-color full leather interior with this vehicle. The leather colors Mondial Vanilla and Mondial Black define the overall picture and especially the accents on seats and side panels (curved decorative seams in black and red) are extremely harmonious.
