"Orange Pumpkin": Widebody BMW M2 Competition-VGT

Can you still remember the completely crazy one? Vision GT Bodykit remember for the BMW 2 series (F22) from MTC Design? At that time, MTC Design & Automotive Ltd. announced that the body kit will also be made suitable for the strong brother in the form of the M2 and now even an M2 "Competition" has been given the components. From a technical point of view, however, we are currently not aware of any information about the vehicle. You can recognize a modified brake system with slotted brake discs and gold-painted brake calipers, but unfortunately we don't have more information about the technology of the M2. But we know that this vehicle was also equipped with a DarwinPro carbon bonnet, with a central power dome made of glass and of course the complete one MTC • Design M2 Competition VGT widebody kit (Article No. BMWVGTHCFWB001) installed.

It widened the body enormously and makes a little bit for the M2 Competition like the 3.0 CSL Homage R Concept by Pebble Beach 2015 looks. MTC calls this project "Orange Pumpkin", which is of course due to the distinctive paintwork of the M2. The MTC body kit includes a new front apron, extremely wide fenders, matching side skirts with huge attachments for the rear side panels and a large, completely new rear apron with diffuser and a fixed rear spoiler. And the M2 is even on the Competition factory rim Y-spoke 788M, which could only move a few millimeters out on the rear axle. In combination with the subtle lowering, however, it is surprisingly coherent in any case and proof that it does not always have to be rims from the accessories. Incidentally, MTC says that this vehicle is number 4 and number 5 is already being planned.

So there seems to be a clientele that is not afraid of permanently changing / distorting an M2 Competition. Because of the cut-out fenders, the vehicle can no longer be returned to its factory condition without leaving any residue. Although you could simply install new fenders on the front axle, the rear side parts would have to be rewelded, which we do not consider as residue-free remodeling. Now let's see if there might even be a limited one BMW M2 Competition Héritage Edition caught at some point. If we get a few more details about the vehicle in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report, as always. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new, you will be informed immediately.

BMW M2 with widebody kit, Ferrari paint and soon 1.100 hp

This converted F87 M2 on steroids debuted at the SEMA 2021 in Las Vegas and was recently filmed by YouTuber Driving Cody. And this vehicle also has all of that Darwinpro carbon kit installed. To do this, the M2 was made in a light blue shade painted, which comes from a 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia. It has a little more shimmer than the OEM paint and has no less than 13 coats of clear coat to offer. The transparent part of the Darwinpro hood however, is still present to allow a glimpse of the straight-six that has rose gold accents (valve cover) owns. There is a in the vehicle for this purpose Roll cage installed. The M2 was made by Garage Works within 48 days built for the SEMA and he (still) has the standard drive train with him. However, with one Chip tuning software. But much bigger changes are already imminent, because a special one racing engine with 1.100 hp "on the bike" should take hold. Since the specially made 19 inch Brixton alloy wheels have a lot to do with the 275/35 R19 tires in front and the crazy 325/30 R19 slippers in the back. Incidentally, the M2 has one Airride built in, Recaro Podium bucket seats with carbon fiber shell and the top of the steering wheel was shortened. There are everywhere carbon fiber. Great thing....
