SPOFEC OVERDOSE based on Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith

Black, wide, strong and exclusive: SPOFEC offers a strictly limited edition of only three SPOFEC OVERDOSE models worldwide based on the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith. The spectacular wide version with components made of carbon and 22-inch SPOFEC SP2 high-tech forged wheels, which are specially produced by Vossen for this supercar, characterizes the exciting look of this GT. The coupé's twelve-cylinder biturbo engine is tuned to a peak output of 527 kW / 717 hp and a maximum torque of 986 Nm. The OVERDOSE sprints from standstill to 4,2 km / h in just 100 seconds. There is also a lowering module for the air suspension, which lowers the two-door model by around 40 millimeters.

Black, wide, strong and exclusive:

  • SPOFEC OVERDOSE based on Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith
  • Limited mintage to only three supercars worldwide
  • Extravagant carbon wide version, 22 inch forged wheels and engine tuning of the V12 biturbo to 527 kW / 717 PS

SPOFEC refines all current Rolls-Royce models. The brand name is made up of the first letters of "SPirit OF ECstasy", the legendary hood ornament of the luxury cars from Goodwood. For the Black Badge Wraith, the German refiner is issuing an OVERDOSE Limited Edition of just three vehicles. The carbon wide version that gives this supercar its name was created in cooperation with the German designer Vittorio Strosek. The high-tech compound from Formula 1 offers a perfect combination of lightweight and strength. The high-quality processing of these composite parts guarantees a flawless fit and surface quality as well as optimal paintability.

OVERDOSE Limited Edition - only three vehicles

The wider fenders on the front and rear axles are fascinating at first glance. They make the 2 + 2-seater 208 centimeters wide on the rear axle, which exceeds the production car by 13 centimeters. For this purpose, curved extensions were developed for the rear side walls, which are seamlessly connected to the series body. This then leaves space for concave-shaped 10.5Jx22 forged wheels that are driven with high-performance tires in the 295/30 ZR 22 format. To match the vehicle, the SPOFEC SP2 wheels with nine pairs of double spokes and a large cover that conceals the wheel bolts are painted black. Vossen is responsible for design and production. The US company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-tech rims.

On the front axle there are 9.5Jx22 wheels with 265/35 ZR 22 tires, which find space under the OVERDOSE fenders, which completely replace the standard parts and make the Wraith seven centimeters wider at the front. The special side skirts not only create a perfect transition between the front and rear OVERDOSE fenders, they also emphasize the exciting wasp waist. In addition, they make the British luxury coupé appear even deeper and more elongated. The rear brakes are supplied with cooling air through an air inlet on each side.

special SPOFEC OVERDOSE aprons

For the wider fenders on the front and rear, special SPOFEC OVERDOSE aprons were developed that completely replace the standard bumpers. The carbon front apron not only gives the Wraith an even more striking face, it also reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds. The OVERDOSE bumper also adapts perfectly to the two extensions at the rear, giving the Fastback a decidedly sporty look from the rear as well. The athletic look can be completed with a carbon fiber spoiler lip on the trunk lid.

To give the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith's 6,6 liter twelve-cylinder biturbo even more temperament, there is the SPOFEC performance upgrade. The processor-controlled N-TRONIC module controls the engine with special maps for injection and ignition and also increases the boost pressure.

717 PS and 986 NM maximum torque

With 527 kW / 717 hp at 5 rpm and a maximum torque of 700 Nm, which is already available at 986 tours, the refined luxury coupé catapults itself from 1 - 800 km / h in just 4,2 seconds. The top speed remains electronically limited to 0 km / h due to the heavy vehicle weight. The power delivery of the V100, which is optimized over the entire engine speed range, ensures an even more superior driving experience.

The SPOFEC OVERDOSE also offers a further plus in agility when it comes to handling. For this purpose, the SPOFEC chassis technicians developed a special control module for the standard air suspension. This lowers the coupé by around 140 millimeters up to a speed of 40 km / h. At higher speeds, the body automatically rises to the original level. At the customer's request, SPOFEC can also customize the interior of the Rolls-Royce Coupé.

Don't worry, of course that was far from being the case when it came to auto / auto tuning. Our magazine still has tens of thousands other tuning reports in stock. Do you want to see them all?
