These 1969 Plymouth Road Runner in the shrill "PPG Vitamin C Orange“Has been extensively restored and also clearly modified. And he's looking for a new home right now! And pretty much exactly 1 year after it was exhibited at the SEMA International Autoshow 2019 in Las Vegas. The very special Road Runner is from "The Throttle Shop“In Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, offered with a buy it now price of stupid 295.900 US Dollars. That sounds like a lot of money at first, especially when you consider that the car is more than 50 years old, but of course the one-off is anything but an ordinary Plymouth. The centerpiece is under the long hood in the form of a 6,2 liter Hellcat V8 engine with supercharger from FCA. The engine was mated to a six-speed T56 manual transmission and powers the rear wheels with a 9-inch rear. The drive train, with a 4,11 ratio, also has a Wavetrac differential and with regard to the performance upgrades it was probably only the team from "Late model throttle“Responsible.

Performance measurement with racing fuel

They also carried out a performance measurement with racing gasoline and measured the impressive 765 hp on the bike. The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, baptized as "Hellrunner", has received many other modifications. For example, an RMS chassis, ultra-modern lights front and rear, a RAM double disc clutch, a Wilwood brake system with 6 pistons at the front and 4 pistons at the rear, and a sidepipes sports exhaust system ensures spectacular acoustics. The classic stands up to it American racing rims in glossy black and also has a completely new cabin. The most important changes in the interior are the sporty Sparco seats, there was a new three-spoke sports steering wheel, a roll cage and, of course, new equipment with leather, fabric and aluminum components. Sure, the price called is hefty, but so are the changes made to the vehicle and the 369 miles driven since its completion.
