For the first time, the entire video portfolio - from top videos about politics and business to entertainment and knowledge - as well as the live stream from ntv can be seen in a car entertainment system. ntv is one of Polestar's two German partners for the video offering in the car entertainment sector.
The ntv content in the Polestar 2 electric car can be accessed via the Polestar Video Streaming App. The videos can be called up on the central display via the infotainment system, which is based on the Android Automotive OS from Google. Polestar 2 is the first car in the world with Google on board that can access services such as Google Maps, the Google Assistant for voice control and the Google Play Store. When parked and at the charging station, it is possible to watch the ntv live stream and video contributions from ntv directly in the car. For safety reasons, only the audio track is played while driving. The conversion from video to pure audio is automatic while driving.
