Once again we have a Rough World term remodeling for you. The basis this time is a Porsche Carrera from the year 1988 with the chassis number WP0AB091XJS121344. And, as expected, the result was successful. The absolute highlight of the conversion is of course again the 8-part RWB Widebody-Kit which gives a huge look with the riveted fender flares of the body. But the modified front apron with spoiler, the huge rear bumper and the huge Ducktail spoiler lip come from the Porsche tuner Akira Nakai. The complete body was of course restored in advance and I nachdem the body kit has been adjusted by LTMotorwerks painted with Guards Red Glasurit lacquer. Of course, a set of multi-part 18 alloy wheels made by Forgestar with 265 / 35 and 335 / 30 slippers had to be completed in order to be able to consistently fill out the fat wheel arches.
RWB Porsche 911 Carrera
As a contrast, the wheelset was also in black and only the center caps shine in red. Due to lowering by means of KW coilover suspension, the wheels sit perfectly in the widened wheel arch and those who look closely recognize even the complete new Porsche brake system with TRE documents all around. Countless other details such as the modern bi-xenon HID light in black headlights, the darkened turn signals and taillights, the quick-release fasteners on the bonnet, the tiny exterior mirrors or the tinted windows round off the visual appearance impressively. And befittingly there were also under the sheet metal lots of new components to make this 911er a real one RestomodProject. First and foremost, there would be the 3,2 liter six-cylinder boxer engine coupled to a G50 5 gearbox.
The engine did not run 150 km
Thanks to minor modifications, it does a bit more than the factory 217 PS and ensures decent acceleration values in view of the low curb weight. Acoustically underpinned by the soundscape of the air-cooled engine through a purpose-built sports exhaust system which is shown at the rear with a central arrangement and two tailpipes. Again, there are many more details such as the specially made struts under the front hood miss the body more stability. And also the dreamlike interior is new. There were two beautiful TRE bucket seats and everything shines in a combination of red check and black leather.
Momo Mod 7 sports steering wheel
In addition, the back seat has been completely removed and also in the cabin it is the many details that make this vehicle so spectacular. We would like to mention here the Momo Mod-7 sports steering wheel, the RS carpets or the Porsche Classic radio with navigation that was coupled to Alpine loudspeakers. The most important information we have listed again for you below. Of course, if we receive more details about the conversion soon, there will of course be an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
