Papamobile for everyone! The chicken head sprinter!

The Team of Hünnerkopf (Neukirchen) and the company Hartmann Spezialkarosserien GmbH (Alsfeld) has a unique Mercedes Sprinter at CMT in Stuttgart (Holiday fair, from January 11 to 19, 2020 in the Stuttgart exhibition halls) that surprises with a glass roof that can be opened in the rear passenger area and measures 5,91 meters long and 1,99 meters wide. A powerful, two-part, electric glass folding roof extends from the B-pillar to the rear of the Sprinter and, when open, conveys the finest fresh air feeling. The cockpit is accessed through a passage behind the right seat and the driver's cabin, including the dashboard, side doors, steering wheel, etc., is covered with fine leather.

vis-a-vis seating group in the rear area

And the Sprinter has a vis-a-vis seating group in the rear, which consists of four luxurious individual wellness leather seats with armrests. The seats have height-adjustable headrests, seat heating and seat cooling and you can also buckle up as normal. In the cabin there is a 32-inch (approx. 81 cm) LCD TV between the two rear seats and there is a second identical screen opposite. Amenities such as a bar compartment with a fridge and a powerful sound system should sweeten the mood for the holiday trip. The papamobile based on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDI is powered by the well-known 2.148 cc inline four-cylinder Euro 5 diesel engine (OM 611), which was boosted by 44 hp to 173 hp by means of chip tuning. Much more important, however, is the 90 Newton meter higher torque (395 NM), which has the necessary power to accelerate the almost 3,7 tons to a top speed of 147 km / h.

Iglhaut all-wheel drive system and BF Goodrich tires

Coupled to an Iglhaut all-wheel drive system with extra locks and elevation, the 2,68 meter high residential landscape is propelled in a befitting manner even away from the paved slopes. And to underline the robust look, a large chrome cow catcher with a cable winch, chrome-plated running boards, there was a suction snorkel upwards and even an LED light bar is almost 3 meters high. The new price for the “Falkenjäger Sprinter” with an ultra-cool folding glass roof: 267.000 euros! If we receive more details in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
