One must not forget the fact that it is of course a turbodiesel and therefore the consumption is not comparable to a similarly powerful gasoline engine. As is well known, BMW is somewhat optimistic about its fuel consumption, according to the EEC directive - combined, of 6,3 liters. But we assume that with "normal" driving style, more than 8 liters should be realistic. In view of the performance offered, of course, an absolute fabulous value! But not only the increase in performance makes the difference compared to the series, a lot has also changed visually. Probably the most noticeable change relates to the new wheelset from HRE Performance Wheels. Here the Classic 300 rim "copper polished" with matt black rim star in the size of 20 inches was installed and the whole thing was fitted with Michelin Pilot Supersport tires, which are responsible for consistently bringing lush performance to the road.

So that the new wheel set sits optimally in the wheel arch, the 5 Series has been lowered by approx. 25 mm and this looks particularly dynamic in connection with a Hamann front lip and a set of black kidneys. An extremely elegant vehicle that is perfectly staged with the new eye-catching wheelset but still retains the necessary understatement that simply belongs in this vehicle category.
