It's not a week before BMW has one extensive facelift for the current X5 and X6 presented! As usual, the front and rear were sharpened and there were also a few new features in the interior. Really "different" see the X5 and the X6 as LCI but not out. But if you want exactly that, i.e. more "change", you should go to the German tuner Prior Design drop by. Because they have an extensive bodykit for the X5 of the model generation G05 developed that significantly changes the look and ensures even more street presence. Curtain up for that PDG5XWB Widebody Aerodynamic Kit, this to all X5 G05 Fits models with the optional M package.
PDG5XWB body kit
According to our information, the body package is currently still in the final development stage, so the published images are only drafts / renderings for the time being, but no major changes are to be expected. Let's start with the massive hood scoop. It gives the X5 G05 more dynamism and accentuates the sporty line. It is installed on the original bonnet. It continues with the PDG5XWB front spoiler. It also ensures increased dynamics and a more powerful front end with racing flair. And there are also special front frames for the front air intakes. The typical highlight is of course the massive front and rear widening.
powerful fender flares all around
The attachments for the fenders miss that X5 G05 more dynamic and accentuate the sporty line in exactly the right places. The components sit on the original body parts and do not require cutting out the fenders. And of course the rear has changed too. An aggressive diffuser is installed for even more dynamics and the rear view is fitted with a large one roof spoiler as well as with one tailgate spoiler staged. Incidentally, all components are made of a glass fiber / plastic composite and are laminated by hand and then processed.
However, the components are only suitable for vehicles with M package, but as far as we know also suitable for the X5 M (F95). The virtually tuned vehicle from the pictures also received a set of large ones forged wheels and apparently there is also a subtle lowering. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
Don't worry, of course that was far from being the case when it came to auto / auto tuning. Our magazine still has tens of thousands other tuning reports in stock. Do you want to see them all? Then just click HERE and look around. Or you can read through the following thematically appropriate vehicle reports. Another interesting vehicle is sure to be included.
