Petty's Garage Ford Mustang GT as 685 PS Warrior Edition!

It's been a few weeks since we saw a modified Ford Mustang GT. A year ago this was the case almost every day, but the Dodge Challenger is currently dominating the tuning section of American muscle cars. But that will certainly change again. Especially with vehicles like the Ford Mustang GT as 685 hp Warrior edition from tuner Petty's garage! They prebuttoned the legendary pony car in 2018 and presented it to the world public at various trade fairs. And the vehicle from the pictures is not a one-off. Petty's garage built the Warrior Edition in a particularly small small series. And one of these vehicles manufactured in 2018 is now being sold. So if you are looking for a modern muscle car in a particularly small limited edition, you should check out the upcoming Mecum auction from November 13th to 14th in the Las Vegas Convention Center.

V8 with TVS 2650 Edelbrock compressor

Because one of the most interesting cars in the auction is undoubtedly the 2018 Petty's Garage Warrior Mustang with a Level 2 package. He is one of only come built vehicles at all and has installed a huge TVS 2650 Edelbrock compressor under the hood. It increases the performance of the 5-liter V8 under the hood to a hefty 685 hp and at the same time produces a torque of 732 NM. So you are easily on the level of the Shelby GT500 and in terms of exclusivity you even surpass it. And like the other three vehicles built, this one is also signed by Richard Petty himself. Other important details from the conversion are a 6-speed manual transmission, there was a 3-way adjustable coilover kit specially from Petty's garage, a GeForce Level 5 axle and also a changed look. You can see a filigree front spoiler, there was a new radiator grille above and below (without Ford emblem, but with Pettys Garage logo), Racing stripes over the entire body and a distinctive sticker on the windshield with the tuner's lettering can be seen.

New side skirts are also installed and the most visually striking component is the ducktail spoiler lip on the tailgate, which is attached with exposed screw connections. The diffuser with a central LED light, on the other hand, corresponds to the series. It was only painted in body color. The changes are rounded off on the outside with a black wheel set in the format 20 inches and Warrior Edition badges on the fenders. However, there were also modifications "in" the cabin. The most important are new floor mats, an individual leather interior with blue contrasting stitching, a signed badge on the dashboard and a Petty Blue gear lever ball.
