Unique: Rolls-Royce Phantom Hyperion by Pininfarina!

This unique Rolls-Royce has been looking for a new owner for a long time. Commissioned by Roland Hall to Pininfarina, the one-off changed hands for the first time in 2009 for around 4 million pounds (approx. 4,72 million euros). And today one would like to think that the unique piece should be worth at least as much, or even more. But that doesn't seem to be the case. AL Ain Class Motors has been looking for a buyer for years and currently one wants "only" 2.780.000 € for the single piece. But that too seems too high, because the car has still not been sold. Why? Because you also get a Ferrari LaFerrari, a Pagani Huayra, a Koenigsegg Agera or more than just a Bugatti Veyron. Even a Bugatti Chiron or an Aston Martin Vulcan are not impossible for that amount. So who is for that Rolls-Royce Pininfarina Hyperion unique decides, he must have very special interests and be a real Rolls-Royce nerd.

Rolls Royce Phantom Hyperion

But what actually characterizes the oversized roadster? In any case, the base was once a Phantom Drophead Coupe and the Italian design company Pininfarina did on behalf of the American car collector Roland Hall converted the luxury liner into a roadster. As far as we know, this was in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

It was then presented to the public directly in 2008. But just six months later, the first sales advertisement for the unique item was online. And since then, the Hyperion has been looking for a well-heeled owner every now and then. But what do you get for the seven-figure price? In any case, a unique piece with one Body made entirely of carbon, there are seats in the interior from Phantom Drophead Coupewho have favourited stately 40 centimeters backwards are offset and you saved the back seat completely. There is also a roofthat can be lowered under a wooden roof in the style of a luxury yacht at the push of a button.

Girard Perregaux-Vintage 1945 tourbillon watch

Incidentally, the rear of the vehicle is supposed to pay homage to the Berlinettas of the XNUMXs and XNUMXs and could probably also be the forerunner of the Rolls-Royce Coachbuild Project "Boat Tail" go through. By the way: between the windshield and the hood is a special one Storage space for two hunting rifles. But that's not all. In the interior there are highlights such as one integrated in the dashboard Girard Perregaux-Vintage 1945 tourbillon watchthat can even be removed and worn on the wrist. Is that enough to convince the buyer? In our opinion, at least a guarantee of increased value not included. So it will be interesting to see whether a buyer will be found at some point.
