Polestar 2 BST edition 230: design meets performance!

Polestar has as part of its Polestar Engineered Portfolios has developed a second limited edition of the Polestar 2: the BST edition 230. Based on the extraordinary suspension modifications, which were developed for the ultimate driving pleasure of the original BST model, the new version puts a stronger focus on performance design details. "Limited models like the BST edition 230 allow us to implement colours, graphics and materials in a faster and more creative way' said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. Unique design upgrades for the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 with a power of 350 kW and a torque of 680 Nm include the exclusive green "Nebula" paintwork and the MicroSuede cover for the seats and steering wheel inserts - made from partially recycled nubuck Textiles. The exterior can also be ordered in the color “Space” (black).

A continuous stripe running across the vehicle is also available as an option for both body colors. All chassis upgrades that were used for the first time on the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 are also part of the new special model. These include the lowering (-25 mm), the specially developed and unique dual-adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers, the front strut bar, the 20 percent stiffer springs and the unique 21-inch black alloy wheels. These are based on those of the Polestar 1 and are fitted with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tires specially developed for the BST model. A total of 230 examples will be produced for the European and North American Polestar markets. These can be ordered online at polestar.com from March 21, 2023. Deliveries are expected from the third quarter of 2023.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
