If you see this 4er BMW in the rearview mirror, you probably would get a queasy feeling. The BMW ACS4 2.8i Coupe by AC-Schnitzer chases with nearly 300PS criminals and is likely to depend for just about any fugitive difficult. Certainly there will be one or the other bickering on the guard who is allowed to go with the chic 4er on criminal chase. AC Schnitzer tunes the basic model of the BMW 428i performance as well as visually and shows with this project the tuning and security belong together.

So that the villain is caught quickly, the 4-series accelerates to 294km / h in just 5,7 seconds, thanks to 100PS. AC Schnitzer has given the Bavarian a performance boost and thus achieved the almost 300PS. So that longer chases are not uncomfortable, AC Schnitzer has built in stylish aluminum pedals and floor mats for the perfect BMW cockpit. Of course, the RTK7 blue light system and the blue foil are not missing. You have to show that the guardians of the law come here. The initiative was boosted by the tuning association VDAT in 2005 at the Essen motor show.

The aim of the campaign is to make people aware of safe and serious tuning. Each year on new a patrol car is modified accordingly.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
