Tuning-Fail: Pontiac Trans Am Firebird in horror robe!

Hard to believe but this Pontiac Trans Am Firebird V8 with body kit actually comes from Germany. From the car dealership "Nade car parkr ”from Regensburg, who listed the completely rebuilt 79 Pontiac on mobile.de for a price of € 12.500. A vehicle whose base is actually barely recognizable. The Pontiac Trans Am Firebird is actually an American classic and is rarely found in Germany in particular. It is all the more amazing that such an extremely converted specimen has made it here. While no data is known about the manufacturer of the body kit, the company that installed it, or the quality of the conversion, the provider tries to answer these questions with lots of pictures.

extreme widebody variant

The body kit is a widebody variant all around, which attracts a lot of attention especially with the strange front apron including the square headlights and the Formula 1-like nose. In addition, there is a jagged bonnet with a large central air opening and in addition to the widening for the fenders that takes getting used to, there is a particularly shrill rear. The clearly widened rear view shows itself with a rear spoiler that could also come from a Lego kit and only the two round tailpipes and the dark rear cover of the rear lights have something to do with the series.

chic classic round instruments

The interior is not that crazy, but here, too, the two-tone equipment with the dashboard in the color of the car is a detail that takes getting used to. Only the white leather seats are actually quite chic, which also applies to the classic round instruments of the speedometer unit. Incidentally, a 6,6-liter V8 with 217 hp and a 3-speed automatic transmission works under the hood. We know of course that "Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder". However, we have examined the vehicle extensively and have come to the conclusion that it definitely belongs in our tuning fail category because WE do not consider it beautiful. What is your opinion about this? Beautiful or not so beautiful? Please leave a comment here!
