The latest generation of the Porsche 911 is now available with a SportDesign package that includes a revised front apron with a characteristic spoiler lip. The rear was also redesigned: a new bumper area under the license plate positioned higher up offers space for a new air inlet and outlet. The SportDesign package can be combined with optional SportDesign side skirts, which optically let the vehicle lie even lower on the road. Another option is the new Aerokit. It is available for all coupé versions of the 992 series. Based on the SportDesign package, the Aerokit offers a number of aerodynamic improvements - a striking front spoiler as well as a fixed rear spoiler and rear wing reminiscent of the GT models from Porsche. In combination with the SportDesign side skirts, the grip is increased and the racing DNA of the 911 is emphasized even more.
Aerokit comes directly from Weissach
The new Aerokit was created in the Porsche development center in Weissach. Engineers optimized design and function for months. The prototypes were fine-tuned in the Porsche wind tunnel. The Aerokit thus fulfills the promise that its spectacular design gives - namely the reduction of the buoyancy forces on the front and rear axles. The intensive development phase also included tests under hot and cold climatic conditions around the world. Test drives covered more than 90.000 kilometers on the road. To fine-tune the aerokit, a total of 55.000 kilometers were also completed on the race track in Nardò during high-speed tests. Both the Aerokit and the SportDesign package are now available either in the exterior color or with elements in high-gloss black.
