Singer Vehicle Design has completed the first customer vehicle of the Porsche 911 DLS-Restomod and the company founder and chairman Rob Dickinson himself has now presented the classic. The vehicle was planned since 2018 and a near-series interpretation was the copy for Scott Blattner. And Dickinson was apparently pretty happy after the first ride, looking at the official pictures. The vehicle is in beautiful Oak Green Metallic painted and it is a vehicle from 1989 and therefore of course a 911 of the Series 964. Rob Dickinson said: "What a fantastic experience! Our special team talented Heroesthat we only use for the "Dynamics and Lightweighting Study (DLS)" have put together has achieved an amazing result. The car is just extraordinary".

And Dickinson continues: "I am very happy for our clients / customers. We will reward their immense patience and trust in Singer Vehicle Designs with a truly remarkable driving machine". Singer plans overall only 75 vehicles from DLS-Restomod, all of which are built at the company's UK facility. DLS stands for Dynamics and Lightweighting Study and was developed in collaboration with technical partners such as Williams Advanced Engineering, Bosch, Michelin, Brembo, Hewland and BBS Motorsports.

And like the previous vehicles, the DLS is also operated by one 4-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine driven. However, it is a new engine. The engine with four valves per cylinder was developed in cooperation with the legendary Porsche engineer Hans Mezger and is stronger. The result is an air-cooled engine that can run up to 9.000 U / min turns and doing powerful 500 PS perform.

$ 1,8 million is due

And of course the Body completely revised and has been completely restored. No screw is left untouched. All around, the shell is subtly revised and made with aerodynamic improvements Carbon equipped. Aprons, hoods, doors, wheel arch extensions, rear spoilers and much more are completely developed in-house and also based on absolute Lightweight trimmed.

The goal of building the most modern air-cooled Restomod based on a Porsche 911 has probably been achieved with this. With a price of good $ 1,8 million But the DLS is also pretty much the most expensive way to drive a XNUMX. Incidentally, more DLS vehicles are already in the works. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
