Porsche Boxster "Spyder" (986) as the ultimate one-off!

On the part of Porsche, three of the four generations of the Boxster were also sold as "Spyder". But the first model series belongs not to. But this example shows that a 986 Boxster can also function as a Spyder. And the unique piece is currently even on Cars & Bids offered for sale. Installed is a 986 Spyder conversion kit from TuneRS Motorsports, which gives the Boxster a completely new Tailgate with two humps donated, under which, however, "no" electrically operated top is located. The roof of the Spyder is not only opened and closed manually, additional ones are required Bracing to be attached. Other visual details include 18 inch rims from the Cayman S with 12mm wheel spacers, there were new ones LED headlights, TuneRS side skirts, an “RS Spyder”front splitter and rear diffuser and the tail lights from the EU model.

Inside, the Boxster has a Steering wheel installed with a flat bottom, there was one B&M gear lever as well as red Showthat match the convertible top. The 2,7-liter boxer engine, on the other hand, is standard. However, this one breathes through Exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters and more dynamics out of the curve enables a sporty KW V1 coilover kit.
