News on the Facebook timeline about the Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance team. The following Photos we discovered on the social media channel of the tuner and need it she just show you guys. You can see a tuned Porsche Cayman GT4 3.8l whose serial output has been increased from 385 PS / 420 NM to 406 PS / 452NM. Even if the increase in performance, with an additional 21 HP, seems a bit small at first, the yield is considerable because it is a naturally aspirated engine and this is much more difficult to tune than a supercharged engine. The tuner already has the mcchip that can do that perfectly Lamborghini Gallardo 5.0 V10 proven. Should you discover any further changes, we would be happy if you let us know in the "comment box".

These are the details we know:

  • subtle lowering !?
  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)
  • the 3.8 liter naturally aspirated engine of 385 hp and 420 Nm torque by means of pure software performance enhancementng increased to 406 hp and 452 Nm

We have written to the tuner and asked if he can send us more details about the conversion.

Update from "24.05.2016/XNUMX/XNUMX"

Mcchip-DKR has again carried out an increase in performance on a Porsche Cayman 3.8 DFI GT4 with series performance of 385PS / 450Nm (MEASURED 374PS / 421NM). The software increase in performance + IPD suction finally reached a strong 411PS / 444Nm in this vehicle.

and another one

On October 11.10.2016, 4, Mcchip-DKR published another Porsche Cayman GT981 3.8 385 DFI on its website, which also received an increase in performance. This time the serial output of 420PS / 407Nm became 433PS / XNUMXNm torque by means of software performance enhancement.

Update from "07.01.2016/XNUMX/XNUMX"

go on…

And it continues with a further increase in performance for a Porsche Cayman GT4 981 3.8 DF. And don't worry, it's not the same vehicle as we have already shown you above 😉. Here, too, the standard output of 385PS / 420 Nm was increased by means of chip tuning and the result is 405PS / 428Nm torque on paper. If you look at the other vehicles above, then for future prospects with a GT4 3.8 the fact that at least 20 hp can almost always be tickled out of the Zuffenhausner may be important. Have fun with the new pictures!
