The Porsche Macan is not only extremely successful, but is also slowly but surely developing into an exceptional long-running favourite. Although it has been on the market for eight years, since 2014, there is no end in sight. Rather, there was another facelift in 2021 to make the series fit for the next few years. Because: The new edition for 2023 will only be available purely electrically, so that the previous combustion Macan will initially continue to run in parallel.
Diesel power in the Macan
With its dynamic styling, the SUV is of course also ideal for dynamic customization and upgrades. This is demonstrated, for example, by this example presented here: It was made by the Swiss specialists from aerotechnics placed on a set of high-quality rims from the popular brand Barracuda Racing Wheels. To be more precise, it is a relatively early example of the Macan, a representative of the original version. This can be recognized by the separate rear lights instead of the continuous light strip, which the smaller Porsche SUV received with the first facelift in 2018.
21 inch rims with little weight
The car sits on Project 2.0 wheels from Barracuda's Ultralight Series with a Higloss Black Brushed Surface finish. Thanks to the flow-forming process, they are very light in the dimensions 9×21 and 10,5×21 inches, weighing only 11,9 and 12,2 kilograms respectively. Nevertheless, the wheels offer a high load capacity of up to 875 kilograms each - ideally suited for large and heavy SUVs or luxury limousines. The Project 2.0 on the Macan is fitted with tires measuring 265/40R21 and 295/35R21. In addition, the Porsche received a subtle lowering by reprogramming its air suspension.
