Can you still remember the new one? Techart Porsche Panamera GrandGT remember from 2017? The second generation of the Panamera was given an extensive wide body kit by the traditional Porsche tuner and, if desired, a significant increase in performance and a great deal of individuality for the interior. And it is precisely this extensive tuning program that Techart has now made suitable for the Panamera Sport Turismo. After Porsche broke the station wagon taboo with Sport Turismo, the tuners had no choice but to go along with it. In view of the fact that the Zuffenhausener is almost unrivaled (There is only the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake which is deleted without replacement with the new CLS generation) could also pay off for tuners like Techart.

Although the Sport Turismo offers only 20l more trunk volume than the sedan, the unusual look of the "Porsche station wagon" is immediately convincing and should therefore probably be the decisive selling point. And the whole thing is even more impressive with the TECHART GrandGT program that the tuner completed in time for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show (March 8, 2018 - March 18, 2018). Since the Sport Turismo corresponds to the sedan up to the B pillar, the body kit is of course almost identical and only had to be adapted to the rear. The presentation vehicle is an absolute dream and is particularly impressive with the metallic green paintwork of the Turismo and a beautiful individual interior in brown.

But let's start with the body kit. It includes a new front apron with an integrated splitter and larger air intakes and a GT3-style opening. There are also new side skirts, which ensure a seamless connection of the successful fender flares at the front and rear. The extensions allow the body to grow by 50 mm in width on the front axle and the rear even grows by a whopping 80 mm. And the rear also gets the floating rear diffuser with four fins of the sedan and only a rear spoiler has been omitted. The extensive body kit also looks like a glove on the Panamera Sport Turismo and perfectly underlines the standard lines.
And of course there are also 22-inch TECHART light-alloy wheels in Formula IV design (or others) for the station wagon, which, like the limousine, should be equipped with tires in the format 285/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear and sit perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to the subtle lowering. Techart also has more power in store. For example, there is an increase in performance for the Turismo Turbo in combination with a sports exhaust system including titanium twin tailpipes, which turns the standard 550 PS into a whopping 640 PS & 900 NM and the Techart combo in just 3,4 seconds to 100 km / h accelerate (series 3,8 seconds). And as already mentioned, there is also an extensive program for the interior and the presentation vehicle comes with a unique brown full leather interior with contrasting decorations, which covers the entire interior and can even be found in the footwell.
There are matching high-gloss inlays and an Alcantara headliner in black. We assume that this interior can only be entered with slippers, and we think that the "station wagon" looks a bit more noble than the Techart sedan. However, any other color combination and other materials can also be ordered, so not only the brake calipers are available in your favorite color, but also the entire interior.
