Surely you still have our virtual AUDI TS6 in the head! Powerful vapor and powerful optics have caused a sensation on the net. But as already mentioned - everything only virtual! But now there is a converted T5 that is very REAL and comes extremely close to our idea. A black specimen known as the ultimate "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing“Warming up many a thoroughbred athlete if they wish. The T5 was namely by the tuner "TH automobiles“ (we already know) from Berlin pushed to crazy 580 hp! This is made possible by a 3,6-liter turbo engine from the Porsche 911 (997), which ensures that the T5 can run at an incredible 285 km/h. And visually you can see that the Wolfsburg is not in the beginning. Everything is painted in body color and the radiator grille comes without a brand-typical VW emblem.

There is also a subtle lowering, black headlights and a custom-made matt black wheelset from ATS. It is installed in the format 10×19 and 8,5×19 inches, with tires in the dimensions 285/40 and 245/40 and provides the necessary traction. Only the sports exhaust system at the rear with its centrally placed tailpipes gives an idea that this is not a boring Multivan. By the way: TH AUTOMOBILE has specialized in equipping vehicles based on T5 Multivans with Porsche drive and chassis technology from the Porsche 996 or 997 models. So the guys know exactly what they're doing! And this example got the double-charged six-cylinder boxer with 911 hp from the 997 Turbo of the 1/480 series.
from now on with rear engine
Nachdem TH automobiles installed the turbochargers and the control unit of the 997 GT2 in combination with a few other modifications, the total output shot up by 100 hp to 580 hp. But even here the end of the road is not waving. If that's not enough for you, you can use it TH2RS on multivan basis You can even order a copy with an incredible 800 hp, which you can experience in the video below with Walter Röhrl at the wheel. But back to the current T5. A Brembo brake system with six pistons and huge 370 millimeter discs at the front ensures species-appropriate deceleration. On the rear axle, on the other hand, there were four pistons with 365 millimeter discs and everything is installed in combination with steel braided lines. For the perfect cornering and a sporty lowering, there was also a height-adjustable coilover suspension, which also rounds off the visual appearance.
black, evil, unimpressive
And the interior is anything but series. But only at second glance. Of the TH2 Porsche 911 Turbo Bus got the steering wheel and dashboard from the 997 Porsche Turbo and the front seats also come from the Zuffenhausen athlete. In the rear, on the other hand, there were 4 leather-covered and swiveling individual seats that can be uninstalled at any time and even bring small folding tables. The suitability for everyday use is therefore still fully available. In addition, revised technology with a Kenwood navigation system and a rear entertainment package with overhead monitor and all this is wrapped in lots of Alcantara.
And the best news, the 2012 TH2 Porsche 911 Turbo Bus can currently even be bought. The car dealer Car Special advertised the T5 at a price of EUR 139.800, which is anything but exaggerated considering the costs of over EUR 250.000. Below the video of the 800 PS TH2RS (VW T5 Bus) in Groß Dölln with Walter Röhrl at the wheel you will find a link to the car dealer's website.
