The Porsche Turbo 911 has been a dream for sports car fans for almost five decades. The first generation of the extraordinary sports car was presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1974 and since then every 911 has been better than its predecessor. At that time, the 3.0 Turbo 260, based on the G model, had an output of 250 hp and 306 km/h to be considered the fastest production sports car in Germany. Today such performances are already achieved in the compact class and often even more. The best examples are the Honda Civic Type R (280 hp), the Ford Focus ST (315 hp), the VW Golf R (3 hp), the Audi S306 (135 hp), the BMW M306i (35 hp) or the Mercedes AMG A4 306MATIC (XNUMX hp). The 911 Turbo is now available in its seventh generation (992) and in its most powerful version, the Turbo S, puts far more than twice the power of its predecessor on the road. A whopping 650 hp and 800 Nm. For the performance specialists of PP performance however, that is not enough. And although the headquarters of the experts in engine, turbo, compressor and exhaust technology is actually based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Turbo S pictured here was upgraded at the German site in Bad Mergentheim.
In terms of longitudinal dynamics, the PP-911 even surpasses its legendary hybrid hypercar brother, the Porsche 918 Spyder. The PP performance team replaced, among other things, the two standard turbochargers of the 3,7-liter biturbo boxer engine with TTE 1000+ VTG upgrade turbochargers. Their efficiency is further optimized by competition intercoolers with carbon air ducts from Wagner Tuning. The exhaust fumes now escape through a lightweight titanium high-performance exhaust system with a manifold and 200-cell downpipes from iPE that reduce dynamic pressure, and they ensure a remarkable and finally befitting soundscape.

Nachdem PP performance has developed software specially tailored to these hardware components, the 911 Turbo S now achieves impressive results 950 PS and 1.100 Nm maximum torque. As a result, the all-wheel drive athlete accelerates from 2,4 to 0 km/h in an incredible 100 seconds (series: 2,7 s / 918 Spyder: 2,53 s). The tuned 200 Turbo S reaches the 911 km/h barrier in just 6,6 seconds (series: 8,9 s / 918 Spyder: 7,0 s) and breaks through the 300 mark after a spectacular 14,1 seconds (Series: 19,1s). The top speed is an insane 365 km/h (series: 330 km/h / 918 Spyder: 351 km/h). If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
