It is often the case that with the appearance of the successor, “the old one” almost disappears from the scene. Especially with regard to the Audi R8 sports car (internal type designation 42) that was the case. While we will have a tuned R2015 Gen8 at least once a week until 1. reported, that changed with the appearance of the new generation of Type 4S abruptly. Since then, the "old R8" has been quiet. But today we are presenting a completely rebuilt example that was created on the basis of the first R8 not so long ago. And the unique piece does not have to hide behind its successor or any other contemporary athlete. The R8 went into production in the summer of 2006 based on the Lamborghini Gallardo and shared a large number of components with the Italian. And this bespoke copy from 2009 is something very special.

And the vehicle is currently even looking for a new owner. Namely, he is currently over Cars and Bids offered and should actually be on the SEMA 2020 to be issued. However, as is known, this was canceled due to the corona pandemic. Now he has his big stage online and not in an exhibition hall.

The vehicle got the familiar one GT850 widebody kit from Prior Design that brings a little bit of Audi LMS style to the normal R8. The kit consists, among other things, of modified purse, extensions all around and matching Sills. The fixed one, however, is not part of the kit PPI Design Razor rear wing with Vorsteiner feet. But the R8 has a lot more to offer. For example another complete one foiling (Skeple Inc. designed Audi LMS inspired patina look), an adjustable at the push of a button Accuair air suspension and beautiful, but also sour, HRE Vintage Series 501 rims. They are equipped with Toyo-Proxes tires (265/35/19 & 325/30/19).
