Hot part: 2020 Prior Design Widebody Hyundai i30 N

In April of this year, the Kamp-Lintfort-based company PRIOR-DESIGN together with the Torpedo Group (sells vehicles of the Hyundai brand) First pictures of a planned widebody kit for the Hyundai I30N (PD) published. And at the same time, there was also an indication that another variant with smaller and completely without fender attachments is in the works. With the tuning for the I30N, Prior Design is entering the segment outside of sports and luxury cars for the first time, like an Audi, Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren or Porsche. So far, the published images are only renderings, but they show in great detail what exactly will happen to the Korean from August 2020 (the kit should be ready there) should change. The Wide body kit presents itself with sweeping widenings of the front fenders (approx. 6 cm on both sides) and back (approx. 10 cm on both sides) and with special frames and new struts, the original front apron is adapted to the kit.

In addition, there is a sporty front spoiler lip and the side section is underlined by modified side skirts and attachments installed on them. And the rear view of the I30 has also changed significantly. Here is an aggressive diffuser insert and of course the apron is also adapted to the widenings on both sides. With a new roof edge spoiler, the rear of the Korean is rounded off in a sporty way. And even the performance of the standard up to 275 PS & 378 NM strong four-cylinder (N Performance) you want to optimize. Prior Design increases the output to 329 PS and 423 Nm by means of a tuning box with Vmax limitation and so the I30N is much stronger than a VW Golf MK7 R, for example Turbo Center Berlin and other changes even the unit about 420 PS push.

Rear view with and without extensions

Prior Design does not leave the cabin unchanged, either. There is, for example, a dashboard with a new carbon trim or door sills with company lettering. Last but not least Prior Design also has a lowering and new rims at the start. The lowering of the undercarriage is optional Sport springs from H&R and the wide wheel arches can be filled with various aluminum frames on request. For the virtual variant, the choice fell on a particularly concave 20 inch version of the VFS-1 from the shelf of Vossen Wheels in black. If we receive timely first pictures and information about a first real conversion, there is of course an update for this report as always.
