Fat classic: Prior Design Porsche 964 widebody project

We actually know Prior Design from Kamp-Lintfort with the well-known body kits for "current" vehicles from the brands Audi, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes, McLaren and also for Dodge, Ferrari, Jaguar and even Lamborghini, the tuner has a lot of changes ready on request. And the repertoire for the Porsche brand is also very extensive. For example the 911, the Panamera, the Cayenne and the Macan, which can be equipped with Prior Design accessories. So far, a classic like the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 of the 964 series has not been in the range. A series that was presented in 1988 as the successor to the 911 "G-Model" and thus officially belongs to the classic cars. The BMB (Berlin Motor Books) Publisher even officially celebrated the 2018 with the "Porsche 964" 30 Years "1988-2018" book, and we got hold of a copy.

And now Prior Design comes with a completely remodeled 911 4 XTRA 964 700 the series in our opinion, well and would like to have earned a place in the aforementioned Schmöker. The 911 was completed in the spring of this year and shown again and again with a few pictures by Prior Design. A vehicle in which well over XNUMX working hours have flowed and which is of course an absolute unique piece and will stay, The striking dark red painted 911 1990 comes with extremely wide flared fenders at the rear and even on a duck tail in the style of the Carrera RS 2.7 from the 1970er years has been thought. In addition, side air intakes in black in front of the rear axle and also in the widened front fenders. Here however in the form of gills in the style of the GT3 RS and GT2 RS of the generation 991.

And the spoiler lip, the canards, the large air openings in the apron, the sill swords and the aggressive rear diffuser are set off in black. And another highlight on the 964 is the very contrasting wheelset. While Prior-Design also has chic rims from its own production at the start, many have the choice here on the manufacturer Rotiform. The wide wheel arches now fill multi-part Rotiform WRW Alus in the format 9 × 18 inches at the front and a massive 11,5 × 18 inches at the rear. The eight-spoke stars are eye-catching gold and the stepped outer beds are highly polished. Incidentally, the wheel set is equipped with Pirelli slippers in the dimensions 235/35 ZR18 and 295/30 ZR18 including white Prior Design tire stickers. And so that the wheel set fits perfectly in the lush wheel arches, there was a mighty lowering using H&R coilovers.

And the cabin of the 964 has also been completely transformed. There was tons of black nappa leather and alcantara, and everything is skilfully set off with red stitching and red piping. In addition, there is a Momo sports steering wheel with a yellow 12 o'clock marking and this too is presented in Alcantara. The 3,6-liter six-cylinder boxer with 250 PS & 310 Nm torque, however, remained unchanged and only has an exhaust system made of titanium with central blue-burned twin tailpipes. If we receive information on further changes to the 964 that have not been mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
