PD-TE widebody aerodynamic kit on the Porsche Taycan Turbo & Turbo S!

Unbelievable, it's been two years since the Prior Design team made a first virtual draft of a widebody kit for the Porsche Taycan. And now the time had finally come, the components have been completed since around August 2022 and the presentation vehicle was taken to the Essen Motor Show (EMS 2022) in Hall 7 at Stand 7C19. And the result makes you completely forget the long wait. In our opinion, the body kit looks simply fabulous on the Stromer. By the way, the kit is specifically called PD TE widebody aerodynamic kit and it is suitable for the Porsche Taycan Turbo and for the Turbo S without SportDesign front bumper. Nevertheless, the other models without Turbo or Turbo S add-on parts (e.g. Taycan, Taycan 4, Taycan 4S) can be converted if the front spoiler and diffuser have previously been converted to Turbo or Turbo S.

According to Prior Design, there are even two versions to choose from when it comes to the side skirts. In fact Sill approaches for the SportDesign package or without the SportDesign package. But let's get to the rest and let's start at the front. For the apron, Prior Design has an aggressive one front spoiler developed and of course the powerful join them extensions (Front and rear extensions are 10 pieces) all around. The front attachments for the fenders in particular catch the eye, because they have indicated air openings and thus appear extremely beefy. Continue with the mentioned sill swords and the extensions for the side walls. And of course the rear hasn't been left untouched either.

Rims: 9,5×22 front & 11×22 rear

At the rear, too, one did not necessarily proceed cautiously. Although the new tailgate spoiler, which by the way, apart from the Taycan Sport Turismo, is suitable for all Taycan models, quite discreetly diffuser attachment not really though. But the EMS exhibition vehicle had a lot more to offer. In addition to an extremely successful color combination in acid green (PWF Lizard Lime matt/foiling) and black, the Taycan was still on a color-coordinated wheel set from Schmidt and was also lowered significantly.

The Gambit wheel set has the dimensions 9,5×22 at the front and 11×22 at the rear and is fitted with 265/30/22 and 305/25/22 tires. And so that the new rims sit optimally in the widened wheel arch, there was still track plates from MR. And finally ... electrifying!
