Jaguar is now offering a “civil” version of the Jaguar XE SV Project 8. For those who couldn't quite get used to the huge look of the 600 PS V8 racing car, there is now a "Touring Edition" limited to 15 vehicles. The biggest change in the limited edition is at the rear. The huge adjustable carbon rear wing of the XE SV Project 8 has disappeared and a spoiler lip is now firmly attached to the trunk lid. Although this does not generate the 122 kilograms of downforce at 300 km / h, the Touring Edition will therefore not fly off the road either. And something has happened up front too. The front apron, which is still very noticeable, has been given a solid splinter and fortunately the mighty bonnet and the large side skirts have remained.

And even under the hood, everything is the same. The 600 PS of the 5,0-liter V8 supercharger accelerates the XE from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,7 seconds, making it exactly at the aerodynamic level not castrated sister model. The maximum speed of Project 8 Touring Incidentally, it is limited to 300 km / h. The 15 copies of Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) in the technical development center in Warwickshire and in terms of paintwork you can choose between Valencia Orange, Velocity Blue, Corris Gray Satin and British Racing Green. If we receive more information on further changes to the XE Topmodell soon, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
