Widebody Land Rover Defender D110 as Project Evolution

The boys of ECD Automotive Design again have a completely rebuilt Land Rover Defender D110 put on its feet. As is well known, the company specializes in modifying the classic and has already shown us two more vehicles (all vehicles of ECD can be found by clicking on the photo below). The current vehicle was refined under the project name "Project Evolution“And here too, of course, a fat LS3 V8 engine could not be missing as the centerpiece. But let's start with the most important changes outside. The glossy black (Basalt Black Metallic) painted body received an extensive widebody kit. And of course this vehicle is also absolutely unique. If you look at the overall result, the project name would be "Project Revolution“Almost more appropriate.

with Chevrolet Corvette V8

There are clearly widened wings around, new bumpers front and rear, a winch, various covers for the headlights and taillights, a huge roof structure and four additional lights above the windshield. A set of black 20 alloy wheels with coarse-grained, off-road tires in kingsize format and a completely new Fox suspension chassis with 2 inch height adjustment. As mentioned earlier, under the hood is a Chevrolet Corvette V8 hiding the ultimate 430 PS and tons of torque sonically underpinned by a Borla- sports exhaust system that sends to all four wheels. A hold it probably so, especially off paved slopes, probably not give and to an acceleration at the level of a sporty compact. And the interior is complete custom.

the interior is a dream

The dashboard, center console, all seats (also the sports seats in front) and the headliner are packed in high-quality brown / black Coja rawhide leather. In addition, classic round instruments and a sober sports steering wheel adorn the unique cabin. Of course, a high-end sound system for acoustic enjoyment should not be missing. A fantastic vehicle that with these modifications is built to last. We do not currently have any more details on "Project Evolution". If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned so far, there will of course be an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
