What the Florida-based tuner East Coast Defender (ECD Automotive Design) can conjure up from the legendary Defender, we have already seen with a large number of converted vehicles. The guys are just able to make something completely exaggerated out of the cult off-roader that everyone still finds cool and that they just want to have. And today we would like to show you the next copy that, in contrast to the "Project Viper", is almost reserved.

The result trades under the name "Projekt Tuki" and shows a classic Defender with modern amenities. This time it shouldn't be “extreme” but primarily reserved and especially “practical”. The basis is a Defender 110 which has received a complete Keswick Green paint job and is particularly impressive due to the white steel rims with BF Goodrich all-terrain tires and the unmistakable Heritage Style grille.

Not really discreet, however, it goes under the hood too because here you built a 4l Rover V8 engine with 175 PS and a ZF five-speed automatic transmission is the perfect drive unit. Panda Charcoal leather Puma seats are also available off the street, and the classy Nardi Holzenkrad and classic All American Nickle Series instruments exude a lot of charm.

And there was also a lot of high-tech because the Landi got a new sound system with a Kenwood infotainment system that brings Apple CarPlay and Android car as well as GPS and even a rear view camera. Details such as the KBX Wing air intakes, the roof rack with ladder + work lights or the new front and rear bumpers complete the visual appearance perfectly.
