The huge one Ram 1500 TRX pickup is too long to be put on the four-wheel test bench by the American tuner Hennessey performance to fit. For Hennessey, this is by no means a reason not to deal with the performance truck. Without further ado, they coupled front drive shaft and tests the vehicle with the rear axle only. And one sits under the hood Hellephant crate engine with Mopar compressor (426 HEMI engine). According to Hennessey, the currently stately one is developing 865 PS and 1.237 Nm Torque on the wheel (rear).

865 PS and 1.237 Nm torque on the wheel

We don't know why the engine was thrown out directly and not based on the factory 6,2-liter V8 with 712 hp and 881 Nm. After all, the tuner has already opened the Hellcat engine several times pushed well over 1.000 hp. However, we also don't know what exactly they are up to. The fact is: if the engine is stable, then the RAM TRX should be used MAMMOTH Ram TRX 6 × 6 mutate. And that is supposed to get 1.200 hp. And they are with that Hellephant engine more likely to be implemented!

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
