Radford Type 62-2 as a limited John Player Special Edition!

Have you ever heard of the small series manufacturer radford heard? They recently got the Radford Type 62-2 presented on the basis of the Lotus Evora and thus created a dreamy interpretation by the old coachbuilder Radford. Among other things with Jenson Button has a quartet (This also includes designer Mark Stubbs, engine specialist Ant Anstead, RA Roger Behle) the British brand Radford revived. If the name doesn't mean anything: The company founded by Harold Radford, as a typical coachbuilder, created special bodies for vehicles from Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin until 1975 and was particularly known for shooting brake variants. And now Radford shows his LotusType 62-2 also as iconic John Player Special Edition. Of that, it should only be exact twelve vehicles give. All in black and gold and of course all technically based on the Lotus Evora.

And the Design from the former Lotus Formula 1 sponsor John Player Special suits the athlete very well, as we think. The official presentation of the limited model is planned for the Goodwood Revival (September 17-19). The current JPS edition is the result of the 62-2 "Classic" and "Gold Leaf" vehicles already shown, to which we will add a few technical details at the end of the post.

And have the 12 planned vehicles not just a distinctive paintwork, you can even enjoy it technical changes. The edition is still easier, still faster and overall even more racing cars instead of road vehicles. The implemented tuning measures include, for example stronger compressorthat the 3,5-liter V6 Toyota engine as JPS formidable 600 PS instills. That is almost 100 horses more than in the "Gold Leaf" model.
