Rendering - Bad VW Phaeton from tuningblog.eu

Reading time 2 Min.

Rather accidentally and quite surprisingly tuningblog.eu is in the possession of a VW Phaeton year 2008 come. The vehicle will accompany our editorial team over the next few months and hopefully for many tuning reports, such as the recently published report on Anchor ROAV DashCam C1 PRO, to care. Until then, we have already thought about what you can make of the Phaeton optically, but in the end we came to the conclusion that extensive modifications to the body or an extreme lowering simply do not match the style of the vehicle. Nevertheless, we would like to show you how our virtual tuning turned out. The vehicle is painted white, by the way, but the lighting conditions make it look almost like a taxi. This is deceptive!

We have made the following virtual changes:

  • significant lowering
  • darkened headlights with evil eye
  • small grille without VW emblem
  • extended bonnet
  • Door handles removed
  • Vossen Wheels alloy wheels in dark gray (22 inches)
  • Slices tinted all around
  • Fog lights removed in the bumper

Here for comparison the original picture

Now our question to you, what do you think of that? Would you like the Phaeton as modified by us on the computer or would it be, as we also think, "Too much“And yet a number too blatant?

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
