When we tell you now that we have discovered a Mercedes AMG GT from the tuner RENNtech, especially our regular readers, think "yes and?"! Understandable because so far there has been one an or other GT of the American traditional tuner to marvel at. But now comes something completely different that even the Solar team varnished GT S from mid-July this year dwarfs. RENNtech published the "Orange Beast" based on a Mercedes AMG GT on its website R.

As is well known, the 585 hp top model has been available since March this year. With a price of at least € 165.410, however, as expected, anything but cheap. And exactly this "R" top model was the basis for a phenomenal vehicle that, thanks to RENNtech with 772 hp, plays in a different league. Mercedes has already installed larger turbochargers in the GT R, but these are apparently still not enough for RENNtech.

By in-house chiptuning, sports air filter, Upgrade Stage II turbocharger and other details such as a roaring sports exhaust system, the 4.0L V8 BiTurbo now sends breathtaking 772 PS & 857 Newton meters of torque to the standard OEM Michelin Cup Sport 2 tires. So equipped, it goes to 3 km / h in just 100 seconds and the quarter mile is already completed in 10,7 seconds, with a top speed of 136 miles / h.

No information is currently available for mega conspicuous foiling or painting. The fact is that this bright orange color is not available ex-factory for the GT R and was subsequently applied. We assume that this is a classic foil because nowadays there is hardly anything left for repainting a vehicle completely and permanently. Unfortunately, we have not been informed yet what the complete conversion should cost.

In all likelihood the GT R will scratch the 200.000 € brand in this condition. Because of the little information, there is not much to say that we leave it with the pictures and the video. Of course, if we get new details about the changes, there is, as always, an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
