If you are looking for a tuning shop that specializes in building so-called restomod vehicles, then C. Foose Design Inc. is definitely a good place to go. And apparently Victor Galdos knew that too, who brought his old 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air to Foose Design. The American automobile designer and television presenter with decades of experience in the construction of individual automobiles looked at the 56 Bel Air and discussed all important details with Galdos. Victor bought the car with his father in the 70s and has been driving it ever since.
a tribute to parents
This also explains the deep emotional bond with the vehicle. The car is therefore to be built as a tribute to Galdos' parents. When the vehicle came to Foose, however, it quickly became apparent that several self-appointed "tuners" had already made various unsightly and only partially completed changes. The plan now is to prevent jumping to the right when braking, to isolate the heat while driving and to repair the cracked gearbox. Other problems with the body or the defective air conditioning must also be repaired. The video is the first in a series of the conversion of the Bel Air.
