An extremely heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang will be auctioned off next week. And it has countless modern components under the hood. So it's a typical one Restomod. A vehicle, so to speak, that combines its classic appearance with modern technology. And what makes this Mustang special is the fact that it's powered by a 427 cubic-inch Roush IR V8 engine. This enjoys a special crankshaft, H-Beampleuel, forged pistons, CNC-machined aluminum heads, a new Camshaft, an 8-stack intake manifold, a Roush ECU, AEM Performance fuel pumps and a custom fuel tank. Unfortunately, the Barrett-Jackson listing didn't mention how much power the Mustang has.

But at least it was mentioned that the V8 was mated to a 5-speed manual with a McLeodtriple clutch has been paired. There are also special drive shafts and a Ford 9-inch differential on the rear axle. In terms of chassis, there was an RRS Phase 6 suspension with RRS thread adjusters on the front axle, RRS GT rack and pinion steering and reinforced lower wishbones. Behind the classic rims are RRS 6-piston brake calipers at the front and 4-piston brake calipers at the rear, as well as the body of the Pony cars has been revised. There were some completely new body parts, such as tailor-made bumpers, special rocker panels, widened wheel arches and air vents behind the side windows. The front headlights (have LED technology) are darkened, there was a special gas cap, new door handles and a PPG Blue/purple paint job.
countless changes in the cabin
And a lot has also happened in the interior. Here they installed an extensive Nappa leather interior, a bespoke dashboard, a new center console, special seats, a vintage air system, digital gauges, power windows and a billet aluminum Gear levers. Although there is no price information so far, it will certainly not be in five figures.
