Fantastic: Restomod Jaguar XJ-C from Carlex Design!

As we know, tuning of all kinds of vehicles is for the team at Carlex design a matter of course. The Polish tuner always lays a hand on an expensive super sports car like that McLaren 720s, but there is also one at the same time Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda (W113) no problem. And now you have the topic Restomod accepted and shows a beautiful - initially only changed virtually - Jaguar XJ-C based on XJ (Mark I)The XJ-C Coupe was a particularly rare example from Jaguar, as it was only manufactured 10.426 times in Coventry (England) within three years. For Carlex, however, this is no reason not to convert the rare coupé and make many changes modernize. And you did the virtual conversion really well. Because a restomod can also quickly go in the pants. Even small details can destroy the whole car.

But what did Carlex do with the two-door Jag? Up front the tuner has unnecessary Edges and trim removed and the topic of chrome has also been significantly reduced. the apron is significantly slimmer than the original and the radiator grill got nine vertical slats instead of the classic grille design.

The shape of headlights It stayed the same, but the tuning company modernized it with a more modern one LED technology and clear glass lenses. And then there is the modified body. All around it was installed integrated into the metal fender flares and the factory setting is still available Chrome strip right above it. And of course the fat fenders create plenty of space for a suitable one Wheelset. And one too Lowering can be seen.

the cabin has also undergone extensive changes

It continues with the stern. There was a slim, color-coordinated one here apron, there were tinted tail lights and a filigree Chrome trim on the trunk lid is also included. And of course that is as always Carlex interior an absolute feast for the eyes. the classic Jaguar details are still there, but in many areas the cabin is modernized. Among other things, a digital instrument cluster and also controlling the Air conditioning is digital now. At the Manager Carlex relies on a "hand-aged“Retro style variant that extends over the Seats, the Door panels and the Center console pulls. There was a lot to do with that precious wood and also one Roll bar is built in. Even that  Luggage Storage has not been forgotten, according to the tuner. And finally there would be that Power Type.

Sitting under the hood no Six- or twelve-cylinder, but one that is not known to us V8 engine. Carlex didn't even mention if it was one Naturally aspirated or a turbo engine acts. At least we know that the drive in the XJ-C is good for 400 PS should be. That is significantly more power than the old XJ-C with V12 and 258 PS.
