Can you still think of the beautiful Porsche 550 Spyder OUTLAW replica with central seat remember from January this year? In our contribution to the Porsche 550 Spyder (also called 1500 RS) with 2,6-liter VW T4 engine including performance increase to just under 200 hp mentions that Vintage motorcars sent another body to LA for another vehicle that even uses a Subaru WRX (EJ207) engine as an energy source. And now we would like to briefly introduce this vehicle to you. Here, too, the YouTubers from “Hoonigan AutoFocus” took a closer look and published a video of almost 20 minutes. As far as we know, the replica was also completely created by the southern Californian tuner "S Klub", which we already dated Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing Know remodeling. And in contrast to the example linked at the beginning, a passenger can also enjoy the fun with this vehicle. 550 Spyder this time it is a real two-seater.

And the 550 Spyder replica has a 2,0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine built from a Subaru WRX that currently shakes about 400 hp from its sleeves due to increased performance. Compared to an original Porsche 550 with around 109 HP (81 KW), this is of course a huge leap in performance. Especially in view of the fact that the replica is just as spartan and therefore has a light weight similar to that of the original 550. It weighs only 590 kilograms! The body is wrapped in an elegant Nardo gray from Audi and also received elegant stripes in martini style from front to back. A very striking detail are the multi-part, highly polished forged wheels from the shelf of HRE Performance wheels (HRE Performance 305) which were equipped with TOYO TIRES, which can be easily recognized by the blue tire stickers. Chose this wheel set S Club LA by the way also on the Gullwing mentioned above.

And then there is the beautiful, spartan interior. Of course there is - typically 1500 RS Spyder - no roof, no windows and only a minimalist windshield, so that the blue, diamond-quilted leather should only be in the open air when no rain showers are expected. The lower part of the large engine cover and even the trunk lid are also covered with leather. In addition, many small details such as the beautiful 3-spoke sports steering wheel, the two round instruments in the form of a stopwatch on the passenger side or the digital instrument cluster rimmed with fine wood ensure extraordinary peculiarities of this very special replica.
