Restomod par excellence - Ringbrothers 1948er Madam V

Restomod of the special class is the specialty of the team around the "Ringbrothers"! Regardless of whether 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle with 980PSFord Mustang Fastback SPLITR or the subtly brutal Ford Mustang Fastback Espionage, all unique vehicles and everything built according to the highest restomod culture. This time, however, the whole thing went exactly the other way around and the new technology did not migrate to the old one, but the old body was simply put over the modern base. At least that is how it can be summed up.

Update 2020 - with a lot of chrome!

In detail, however, that means the donor vehicle, in the form of a brand new Cadillac ATS-V, had to be stretched by exactly 35,56 centimeters, to 4,68 meters, so that the shell of the 48 Cadillac Series 62 Coupé fits. By the way, there are tail fins, bumpers, bonnet, trunk lid and the fenders completely made of carbon. A newly formed radiator cover made of aluminum is also required in order to be so phenomenal.

Then it went on with Flowmaster tailpipes, an interior with modern leather, aluminum, carbon, touchscreen, air conditioning, window lifters, sound system and even a 360 degree camera. The power comes from the well-known 3,6 liter V6 twin turbo from the ATS-V with a whopping 470 hp, using an eight-speed automatic transmission, to the 20 inch rear wheels. So equipped, the "Oldi" goes from 0 to 100 km / h in approx. 4 seconds and only at a top speed of approx. 300 km / h. the whole thing is put to an end. Certainly one of the highlights at the SEMA 2016 in LA, which ended today.
