Recently we saw that you can use an old Volga GAZ-21 for Lowrider or to do Widebody restomod with 180 HP can transform. Modern components in old classics are more popular than ever and the topic Restomod is omnipresent. In reverse, however, it looks completely different. A contemporary vehicle has the look of an old classic, with a few exceptions like that BMW ETA 02 convertible or one C1 body kit for the Corvette C5, much rarer. The Ukrainian tuner is focusing on exactly this type of modification Spec auto tuning specialized. Modern "Western cars“Transformed into the look of vintage cars from the Soviet era with a lot of effort. And apparently there are more than enough people who actually want the old classics from the Soviet Union back on the streets.

Mercedes CL 500 Coupe conversion

Why not, after all, the Volga-GAZ 21, GAZ-12 ZIM & Co. are beautiful vehicles that are real eye-catchers, especially with a few up-to-date components. For example, the tuner uses a large Mercedes CL 500 Coupe of the C215 series to convert it into a Volga-GAZ 21 conversion. However, not as a complete replica, but with very own ideas and especially with many modern components. For example, the blue and white Volga-GAZ 21 photo vehicle has ultra-modern daytime running lights built into the apron, which nevertheless unmistakably interpret the design from back then. Biggest advantage of such an everyday (or what do you call such a conversion?) is in any case the modern technology such as the ABC chassis with active wheel suspension, the 306 HP and 460 NM strong five-liter V8 and of course all safety-relevant components such as ABS, ASR, airbags and belt tensioners etc.

nothing seems impossible

The conversions are more or less complex. For example, the company has already manufactured a BMW 645Ci convertible with a Volga front and conversions for “non-Soviet vehicles” are also being carried out. It is much more difficult when the customer wants an original body of a classic on a modern chassis. But such conversions have already been carried out with minimal visual changes and are on the road. And even crazy vehicles like a Batmobile or a replica of the Himera Q prototype can be found on the tuner's website.
