When we talk about Toyota, many probably immediately think of the 2JZ engine roaring under the Supra's hood or a Land Cruiser pounding off-road. The Toyota Bandeirante, on the other hand, doesn't really ring the bells for most people. But we want to change that and introduce you to this little beast. This is a Toyota Bandeirante, which is essentially a pickup truck and was built by Toyota on the 40 Series platform for the Brazilian market. So it is a small off-road vehicle from Toyota. And the Japanese are known for building robust vehicles that are almost impossible to hold off-road.

The vehicle is currently on Bring a trailer offered and was completed in Brazil restauriert. Then the classic came to the USA. In order to further improve the already good off-road capabilities of the small pickup, there were a few modern modifications. Among other things, a set of 17-inch Mickey Thompson rims with deep tread is installed Off-road tires, it from a Lift Kit with Bilstein shock absorbers, a disc brake system all round, black bumper strips and a host of other things that are intended to increase the off-road capabilities even further.
4 liter (244 ci) Mercedes diesel four cylinder
As mentioned above, the body was fully restored and then painted in Audi Nardo Gray. Under the bonnet is a 4-liter (244 ci) Mercedes diesel four-cylinder engine, which of course is not designed for performance, but simply "should last". It offers more than enough torque, especially in the lower rpm range, and should be able to free the Bandeirante from any impassable situation. And that's what an off-road vehicle is all about, isn't it? If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
