Revenant Automotive Aston Martin Vantage Face Swap!

Audi started with the single frame and other manufacturers such as Lexus or Kia have followed suit. We are talking about particularly striking radiator grills, which the individual manufacturers should immediately recognize. And as we all know BMW is currently taking it to the extreme! In our opinion, the Aston Martin brand is less affected by this suffering. In terms of design, the current Aston Martin Vantage in particular has remained true to both its predecessor and the brand, as we think. Of course there are a few changes here and there but they are not really blatantly different. The 2017 Vantage is optically clearly based on the DB10 that Aston Martin built in a strictly limited small series of only 10 copies.

Maw-like grille or without?

And this look also includes the throat-like radiator grille, which begins under the brand emblem and extends deep down to the spoiler lip. And that is exactly what seems to be a controversy in the committed Aston Martin fan base, which sometimes leads to heated discussions. So hot that a British tuner called Revenant Automotive has now taken the trouble to create a completely new front apron with a classic Aston Martin design line. The component is already available for order and comes with a modernized design from the Vantage generation 1. The component is either available in a light composite material or, if desired, even completely in carbon. The new apron makes the controversial style element of the current Vantage disappear and can be installed in the plug-and-play process at the factory attachment points.

The Revenant apron has two separate air openings and an integrated spoiler lip. The rest is based on the component ex works, which also applies to the position of the integrated distance warning system, for example. Whether Revenant Automotive will also offer something for current vehicles from BMW, Audi or Lexus? It would probably be an interesting business model that could flourish particularly in the next few years! If we receive timely information on other components from Revenant, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
