Single piece - Ringbrothers 1969er Ford Mustang Mach 1

What would the SEMA auto show be without the Ringbrothers !? The guys from Spring Green in Wisconsin will of course also be there this year and present, among other things, the fantastic 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 "UNKL". Of course it is once again an absolutely unique piece and of course one of the trade fair highlights again. Equipped with an 8,5-liter John Kaase 520 ci BOSS engine and a completely widened body, this specimen is not only extremely adequately motorized, but especially since it was born in 1969, it doesn't seem to have aged a day. The look is surprisingly fresh and contemporary, which is not a matter of course on a Mustang even after 50 years. The vehicle is known as “UNKL” and of course has been completely restored and completely rebuilt.

8,5 liter John Kaase 520 ci BOSS

The mentioned engine provides stately 700 PS and is coupled directly to a six-speed Tremec transmission. The Mustang continues to be exclusively rear-wheel drive and receives power through a custom QA1 carbon drive shaft. The soundscape of the V8 is audible with a handmade stainless steel Flowmaster sports exhaust system that does not really want to show itself at the rear. In addition, the Mustang received an Aluma frame front suspension from Detroit Speed Engineering and many other state-of-the-art components, including lightweight aluminum. And the chassis is also very topical. In addition to Detroit Speed stabilizers at the front and a QUADRALink suspension system at the rear, an individually adjustable RideTech coilover suspension is installed, which, in addition to race car-like roadholding, also enables a significant lowering.

HRE forged wheel set in 19 & 20 inches

And the lowering also ensures that the brand new multi-part HRE forged wheel set in 19 & 20 inches fits perfectly and perfectly aligned in the slightly widened wheel arches. The new Alus are equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in the format 295/35 R19 at the front and 345/30 R20 at the rear. And if you take a look through the matt black spokes of the wheel set, you will also see a king-size brake system. Here the tuner relies on a system from the manufacturer BAER, which ensures deceleration in keeping with the standing with huge slotted brake discs and striking yellow painted 6-piston brake callipers. And as already mentioned, the body of the Mach 1 completely new. It was, as already mentioned, completely discreetly widened and also equipped with carbon accents. Worth mentioning would be there the conspicuous front spoiler (also the aprons are new) or the enlarged one Power Dome with air intake on the hood.

Painting in the BASF Big Boss Blue

There was a complete paint job in the BASF Big Boss Blue (house development) and unmistakable the many dull black graphics, lettering up to the classic stripes over the entire vehicle. Especially from the front, however, the paint comes to its best advantage only because of the completely black radiator grille in combination with the bright yellow additional lights. At least that's how we feel. And of course, the cabin is in the state of a new car. Everything is designed for racing and particularly striking is the redesigned dashboard with the central tachometer (does this come from a Ferrari?), the Recaro sports seats, the Ididit steering column with sports steering wheel and even an Air Gen IV Magnum climate system with small vintage knurled wheels and a flat screen are installed. The rest is reduced to the essentials to bring as little as possible bells and whistles into the interior. Check out the video and the gallery (at the bottom) with 100 images. Should we receive information about further changes in a timely manner (the complete list is belowOf course, there is an update for this report.
