And once again the team from ring Brothers an unbelievable vehicle that, despite its almost 50 years of service life, accommodates innumerable components of the present almost invisibly and is therefore rightly a typical “restomod” vehicle. The basis is a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer (VIN: CKE182S146912) which was completed by the Ringbrothers in 2019 and is of course completely restored. To do this, the body was completely removed from the frame and immersed in acid to create the optimal basis for the conversion and to prevent any kind of corrosion in the coming decades. Then you have the blazer in a classic black (BASF Glasurit Waterborne Black - WA8555) wrapped and equipped with countless chrome-plated components such as a specially made roll cage, a custom-made carbon hood with ventilation slots or a black hood.

The wheel arches have also been redesigned and even the loading area through to the tailgate was created in-house with its own individual details. By the way, under the hood there is a 350ci ZZ430 V8 with a Holley Dominator EFI fuel injection that is coupled to a Bowler Performance four-speed automatic (4L80E) and a special transfer case with two ratios (Yukon 3.42: 1 speed). In the course of the renovation, the chassis has also been extensively reinforced and the new chassis with Bilstein shock absorbers and Ringbrothers stabilizers has also been heavily adapted. In addition, a completely new Classic Performance brake system at the front and rear and the new Circle Racing rims in the 17 × 9 inch format are equipped with 325/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T / A KO2 tires and have locking hubs for all-wheel drive. And another spectacular detail is the high-quality cabin with bucket seats.

It is completely in light blue and impresses with new leather upholstery and houndstooth fabric from Upholstery Unlimited as well as state-of-the-art components such as an Alpine touchscreen, kicker speakers and a Kicker Comp R subwoofer. Here too, there are countless small details such as the door handles and dashboard components made of aluminum, the vintage Air climate control or the blue four-spoke steering wheel and the Dakota Digital HDX series speedometer unit that make the difference.
