Since the presentation of the Hellephant Crate Engine from Dodge it's literally raining V8 Hellephants. It feels like every tuner is installing the engine in one of their projects. And the latest project with the supercharged 7,0-liter HEMI V8 from Dodge comes from the famous ring Brothers and officially has an output of 1.000 hp. The engine is in the already known 1969 Dodge Charger Defectorwho is now the Ringbrother's Defector 2.0 becomes. The completely revised charger was presented in November 2017 (see further video and gallery at the end of the post) and had literally ripped off the car world. For example, because it was a copy from 1969, the prices of which have skyrocketed because it was the basis for the infamous General Lee. In the familiar style, the brothers from Wisconsin invested over 4.700 hours of work in the Charger and if you don't deal with the matter, you might think that this vehicle has left the Dodge factory.
6,4-liter HEMI out, Hellephant in
Initially the Defector was powered by a 6,4 liter HEMI built by Wegner Motorsports and a so-called one Crate engine was. But now the Ringbrothers have replaced the V8 with the new Hellephant V8. And in the short video below you can already see the 1.290 NM torque in action that the V8 is developing. The obligatory burnout demonstration succeeds in an outstanding manner. And there's no need to worry about whether the charger can even handle the extra power. The rims in the steelie look are chic HRE Performance Wheels in 19 inches and of course the vehicle has a completely new chassis. Further hardware is a Detroit Speed subframe, a 6-piston Baer brake system and much more. A typical Ringbrothers vehicle, the pictures and information of which we will include in this post.
