Dissolved! Rolls-Royce Wraith Silver Specter Shooting Brake!

Yesterday we were still puzzled whether that Rolls Royce Wraith Shooting Brake on the Instagram account of "wilcoblok“Is a one-off or maybe a planned Rolls-Royce production vehicle. And already today we have the solution! The luxurious loading truck is not a one-off, nor does it come directly from Rolls-Royce. The Wraith Shooting Brake is "still" the only one of its kind, but that could soon change. And the idea comes from Niels van Roij Design and Carat Showerlet from Belgium. The well-known automobile designer and coachbuilder already has that too Adventum Range Rover SV Coupe built and in addition a Tesla Model S as a shooting brake. And now a Rolls-Royce! We know Carat Duchatelet, on the other hand, with lavish interiors such as the Mercedes 1000 SEL Autosalon 2000 Super Sport.

Carat Duchatelet Silver Specter Shooting Brake

And the Rolls already has a name. He calls himself Carat Duchatelet Silver Specter Shooting Brake and is, as the pictures show, highly exclusive. The base vehicle is of course unmistakably a Rolls-Royce Wraith. The elongated roof was handcrafted by Niels van Roij Design / Carat Duchatelet and is designed to fit seamlessly into the shape of the Wraith. Details such as the new window frames, the side window and the rear pillars were created by hand and are largely responsible for the completely new look. The overall design is not just an extended roof, it should be reminiscent of the typical shooting brakes from England from days gone by. There is no information about the changes in the interior so far, but the open tailgate shows a full load compartment with eye-catching upholstery in white / black / red which is apparently based on the factory leather interior of the cabin.

Luggage rails embedded in the floor

Even luggage rails are embedded in the floor and the rear bench seat has been given a neat hatch. However, we do not know whether it can even be folded down. According to Carat Duchatelet, the mentioned factory interior even appears to be completely individualized. It is also possible that the red leather upholstery no longer has anything to do with the original Rolls-Royce equipment. As always, the Silver Specter was only produced on customer request, but according to Carat Duchatelet 6 more vehicles are to follow in the next few years. Incidentally, prices for the conversion were not mentioned. However, we are definitely assuming costs of € 100.000 to € 150.000. This could make the Wraith Shooting Brake suspect half a mille approach. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
