Rauh-Welt Term (RWB) can also Mercedes-Benz 190E

We actually know Rauh-Welt Term (RWB for short) and its creator Akira Nakai with countless Breitbau Porsche 911 vehicles that are created by hand in an unmistakable manner. Every now and then a 964 and fairly regularly the model generation 993. But we have never seen a refined Mercedes-Benz with RWB inspiration. But Mario Christo has actually tracked down one for the Speedhunters magazine that Mark Riccioni staged with successful pictures. Specifically, it is a Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 (W 201). At that time, the Stuttgart-based company enjoyed a cooperation with Cosworth, who donated light-alloy pistons forged to the engine, improved gas paths, two overhead camshafts and state-of-the-art four-valve technology.

The result was 49 HP in addition to the factory-provided 136 HP of the 190 E 2.3. The 16-valve engine delivers an impressive 185 hp at 6200 rpm. This created the basis for the later 190 E 2.5-16 Evo I and Evo II models. Vehicles that are still among the best that Mercedes has ever built! Yes, back to the Japanese copy in cherry red. It is the car from Tetsuro Yamazaki who, like Akira Nakai, belongs to RWB and probably also smokes less ^^. He is the one who is responsible for engine tuning, maintenance or the technology of the 911 customers. But Mr. Yamazaki has with the label RW Republic also his very own style. And after the 2JZ Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC (R 107) from the beginning of January Yamazaki shows us with its 190E 2.5-16 another "Non-Porsche project". The most striking feature here are of course the widened fenders all around the 2,5-16 Evo I. They ensure a discreetly sporty look and also pull over the aprons on both sides. This is joined by a classic AMG rear spoiler and the front spoiler comes from the EVO.

a powerful braking system is also installed

And the widened wheel arches are usually filled with a set of 17 inch Ronal Penta rims (17 × 8,5 and 17 × 9,5), but currently HWA Asteroid wheels are installed as the 450 SLC (owned by Higuchi-san) linked above. The wheelset is covered with Michelin tires and sits in the wheel arch with millimeter precision thanks to an adjustable Aragosta coilover. And if you look closely, you will also recognize a modified brake system on the Baby-Benz. An Alcon / Brabus brake is used, which with the red lettering and silver-painted saddles is a subtle eye-catcher in the wheel arch. The rest of the body, however, corresponds to the series. And also in the cabin you stayed close to the production vehicle.

some matt carbon should not be missing either

Only a roll cage, a short gear lever, a Brabus sports steering wheel and Recaro bucket seats make a significant difference here. Finally, the Stuttgart is still with a xenon kit for retrofitting (not allowed in this country) and the rear shows the Mercedes star and the type designation in matt black. It doesn't need more!
