2023 Roush Performance Ford Mustang GT with 750 hp!

Hard to believe, but Ford actually announced some time ago that they would end production of the Shelby GT500 and instead only fit the 5,2-liter Predator supercharged V8 into the engine compartment 2023 F-150 Raptor R to stuff. In other words, the end of the third generation of the Ford Performance GT350 and GT500 based on the sixth generation of the S550 Mustang is sealed. Currently there is only the 5,0-liter Coyote V8 in the 2023 Mustang GT Fastback/Cabrio and in the Mach 1. Alternatively, of course, the seventh generation is on the agenda, but it won't arrive at dealers until 2024. The Mustang GT with up to 486 hp and the variant is then available Dark Horse even has 500 little horses under the hood. However, so that the currently available model selection is not quite so bleak, the team from Roush performance considering an alternative. The tuner recently brought its 2023 Roush Performance TrakPak Ford Mustang GT with it 750 PS presented.

The new Roush Mustang makes tuning and customization dreams come true, especially in terms of performance. The basis for the conversion is a Ford Mustang GT model year 2022 or 2023, which should not be inferior to the Shelby GT500. Roush Performance, based in Livonia (Michigan, USA), equips the iconic pony/muscle car with an in-house one Compressor kit, which consists of a powerful Eaton TVS R2650 compressor that stands above the currently available Roush Phase 1, 2 and 3 compressors.

The kit allows the 2022 and 2023 Mustang GT to be converted 300 PS & 353 Nm stronger than the series. And typical of Roush Performance, the overall performance of 750 PS & 908 Nm is even linked to a full guarantee. This amounts to either 3 years or alternatively to 36.000 miles (approx. 57.936 km).

Incidentally, the performance kit is suitable for vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions. In addition to the Eaton TVS R2650, the package includes "a large-area low-temperature cooler to increase the cooling capacity"There are larger bearings and timing gears, a modified intake system and of course there is individual software. Incidentally, the kit does not fit with the 5,0-liter engines of the Euro 6.2 regulation and the Mach 1, the Bullitt and the GT350 cannot be equipped with it either.

Incidentally, something can also be done visually if desired. The vehicle from the pictures got a different radiator grille, a hood with air vents, gills in the fenders and a spoiler lip on the tailgate. And there is also a new wheelset and a subtle lowering.
