The Brabus subsidiary Startech published a few virtual pictures of the planned upgrade of the Land Rover Defender (L663) the days. The renderings already show the most important components that should be available shortly. And Startech is no unknown tuner when it comes to the Defender. The company has already converted countless classic vehicles and generally has a lot of accessories ready for the complete Land Rover range, such as the Velar or the Discovery. So it's only a matter of time before the brand new model arrives as the Startech L663. And Startech apparently wants a particularly sporty Defender and has therefore given it an extensive widebody kit. In addition to the wider fenders, which are seamlessly integrated into the body and do not come with exposed screw connections, there is also a new radiator grille with vertical struts, air inlets in the bonnet and a modified front apron with solid underrun protection.

It continues with a roof element above the windshield with additional LED headlights and at the rear, apparently, the installation of a new roof spoiler is being planned. The result is a rather powerful Defender with a much more aggressive look, which is particularly impressive with the optional 23 inch Startech Monostar E rims. With regard to the Alus, Startech also offers 20 and 22 inch versions in different colors from silver to black or as a bi-color version. It is not yet known whether there will also be a stainless steel sports exhaust system for vehicles with gasoline engines. And no pictures of the interior have been rendered or information disclosed so far. But aluminum pedals with aluminum footrests, various Startech logos and, on request, the well-known individual leather upholstery for the Defender will certainly be available again.

Increase in performance by means of chip tuning?

And also an increase in performance by means of chip tuning (tuning box) for almost all models, and there are many of them (90 P300 AWD, 90 P400 AWD, 90 D200 AWD, 90 D240 AWD, 90 D200 AWD, 90 D250 AWD, 90 P300 AWD, 110 P300e AWD, 110 D400 AWD, 110 D400 AWD AWD, 110D200AWD, 110D240AWD), will probably not be long in coming. The Land Rover model range offers enough potential with regard to the new Defender. We are excited!
