Technically there is between the Audi RS Q3 and its lowered brothers, the RS 3 Sportback and the RS 3 Sedan, differ only slightly. Especially with regard to the engine, which is completely identical. All have the famous five-cylinder type VW EA855 evo with turbocharger under the hood. This works in all three vehicles 400 PS & 480 NM and catapults all three to country road speed in well under 5 seconds. And the specimen from the pictures, which was purchased from a Polish branch of Manhart Performance modified. Specifically, this is the team from CARBONE PERFORMANCE PARTS. And while the Polish tuner was converting a "RQ 550 packagespeaks, Manhart mentions one in a reposting on Facebook RQ 460 version. At least with regard to the pictures, it seems to be the RQ 550 variant, because the notice is stuck on the front doors of the RS Q3.
Manhart Audi RS Q3
We estimate that the RQ 460 version only refers to changes to the engine software and the variant RQ 550 (probably about 550 hp) probably still changes to the hardware (Turbocharger, intercooler, intake, exhaust system etc.) makes it necessary. As for performance, mentioned Manhart the in-house MHtronik module, which tells the motor to generate more power. It sits in front of the engine control unit and delivers optimized key data to the factory ECU. In combination with a Sports exhaust system, which significantly improves the sound of the sporty crossover, the module has an output of 460 PS & 650 Nm of torque in the RS Q3. This means that the 2,5-liter five-cylinder with turbocharger is a lot stronger than the series.
Acceleration data unknown
With the RQ 460 package, the sprint to country road speed of 4,5 seconds will certainly improve to around 4,2 seconds, and if the RQ 550 package actually delivers more than 500 hp, then there is a high probability that it will even reach the 4-second mark fall. Incidentally, something has also happened optically to increase performance. The front and rear aprons have been subtly adjusted. A new one appears at the rear diffuser with several slats, there were lateral ones Rocker panels and Manhart decorates the front apron with a Spoiler. It also seems that the oval tailpipes of the exhaust system have grown a bit. The rims are still standard, but they are equipped with Manhart hub caps.
There were darkened Audi emblems on the front and back and also the typical golden accents on the hood, roof, tailgate, doors, grille, gills, mirror caps and rear diffuser. There is also a large Manhart lettering on the Windscreen, the tailgate and in the lower area of the front doors. We are curious to see whether there will be any more information about the RQ 550 package in particular. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
